1. Shipping Options
We ship via trusted carriers including USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Some orders may be fulfilled by third-party suppliers.
Free Shipping: Available on all orders over $199.00 (Standard Ground Shipping).
2. Shipping Rates
For all orders below $199.00, we offer a flat shipping rate of $9.50 via USPS Standard (2–9 business days).
Customers may choose to upgrade to faster shipping options at checkout, including:
- USPS Ground Advantage
- USPS Priority
- UPS or FedEx Ground
Orders over $199.00 qualify for free standard shipping (USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL).
Note: A handling time of 2–7 business days still applies to all shipping methods before transit begins.
We are a small business, and since we deal with batteries—many of which are classified as Hazmat/Dangerous Goods—this handling time is necessary to ensure safe and compliant processing. The 2–7 business days handling time is clearly stated on the Product Page and in the Order Confirmation email. We kindly ask for your patience while we prepare your order.

3. Shipping Timeframes
Orders typically ship within 2–7 business days from our warehouse in Hayward, CA or Fort Worth, TX. Delivery across the U.S. takes 2–9 business days.
If your order is delayed, you will be notified. You may cancel within 14 business days for a full refund if you prefer not to wait.
4. Address Accuracy & Return Shipments
Please ensure your shipping address is accurate. We are not responsible for delivery issues due to incorrect addresses.
Returns due to incorrect addresses will be refunded minus shipping charges. Customers are responsible for any return costs.
5. Tracking & Delivery Issues
- Hazmat Tracking Delays: Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries are classified as hazardous materials. They may be subject to safety inspections, which can delay tracking activation by 3–4 business days. Learn more in the USPS Hazardous Materials Guide.
- UPS/FedEx/DHL: Tracking typically activates within 48 hours.
- USPS: Tracking may take 2–4 business days, especially for Hazmat items.
- Missing Package: If marked "Delivered" but not received, refer to USPS Help.
- Stolen or Lost Packages: We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after delivery confirmation.
6. Order Cancellations
To cancel an order, email us at support@nextbatteries.com. If the order hasn’t shipped, we’ll cancel it immediately. Shipped orders can be returned per our Return Policy.
7. International Shipping
We currently ship to Canada via UPS Standard Ground. Please note that international customers may incur additional customs, brokerage, and duties fees at the time of delivery. These charges are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer.
Once a tracking number has been generated, we are not responsible for lost or delayed packages for international shipments. No refunds will be issued in such cases. Customers are advised to contact the local carrier or customs authorities in their respective countries for assistance.
Please also note that some countries, such as Australia, may experience longer transit times due to geographic distance and local delivery conditions.
To ensure smooth and accurate communication, we kindly request that all correspondence be in English to avoid any misunderstandings.
8. Battery Shipping Guidelines
- Li-ion and Li-Polymer batteries ship via ground with no Dangerous Goods Fees.
- Due to the high costs and strict Hazmat regulations, we do not currently offer Air or expedited shipping within the USA.
- Ground shipping is not available to Alaska and Hawaii for these batteries; they will be sent via USPS Priority.
9. Local Pickup
Local pickup is not available at this time.
10. Sales Tax
Sales tax is collected for orders shipped to: CA, GA, IL, MI, NC, OH, and VA, unless a valid resale or exemption certificate is provided.

Exchanges & Warranty (12 Months)
All products come with a 12-month standard warranty. If your battery fails within the warranty period, we’ll replace it at no cost. Exchange processing typically takes 4–7 business days after the return is received.

- We may request a photo for validation
Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the return shipment of the defective or damaged product. We will cover the cost of shipping the replacement battery or product to the customer.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items
Please notify us within 10 days of delivery if:
- Your battery arrives damaged
- You receive the wrong product
- The product is non-functional
You may not need to return the item. Simply send a photo to support@nextbatteries.com, and we’ll ship a replacement free of charge.
Important: Please make sure you have matched the battery/product with your current working battery/product for Voltage, Dimensions, and Connectors before placing the order. We are not responsible for orders placed incorrectly. While a refund will still be issued under our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee, the shipping fee will not be refunded, and it will be the customer’s responsibility to return the product.
In some cases, we may refund without needing the battery back, and you will be responsible for safe disposal via Call2Recycle.
Cancellations
- Orders can be canceled before shipping by contacting us.
- If the order has already shipped, it must be returned to our warehouse before a refund is issued.
- We cover the return shipping for all cancellations once tracking has been generated.
Unauthorized or Late Returns
We will not issue refunds for:
- Returns made without prior approval
- Products returned after 30 days without prior arrangement
- Items not compliant with this Return Policy
